Originally founded in 1956 by James Arthur McArdle, Dan McArdle oldest of the sons, changed the core business direction of McArdle and Sons Pro Tree Service in 2014 after identifying the strong need for Consulting Arborists with industry experience for Tree Inspections, specifically in Schools. To support this change required long term training history, which had been undertaken from 1998 to 2014 to obtain the necessary AQF 2, 3 and 5 certifications in Arboriculture at Ryde TAFE NSW.
With long term experience in the tree industry focusing on Consulting, Tree Risk & Tree Care Management, McArdle & Sons is able to provide practical solutions and guidance to Principle managers of Schools, Project management for Development sites or Residential clients.
Our clients include all levels of Government departments from Education, Roads and Maritime, CSIRO, Councils, National Parks, Lands Department, Housing, Health, SES, NSW Fire Service and Councils including State Significant Infrastructure. Dan McArdle has been an active committee member and spent several terms as President of the Tree Contractors Association of Australia (TCAA) since joining in 1999. McArdle and Sons actively support and directly assist with the development of the Arboriculture Codes of Practices, Regulation 221 Access with Crane for Tree, Industry Skills Council Development of Training Packages since 2003 used to assist in training staff Australia wide.
